You can do your own searches on the Internet. Some websites are not updated on a regular basis and you may find that some properties are sold, yet are still advertised as available.
When you are ready, the offer form will be faxed to you, you can sign it and return it by fax. The solicitor will courier the transfer (and mortgage) documents to you to sign. We have a number of clients who are living overseas and who purchase properties through me on this basis.
With the help of a friend/ family in New Zealand
Buying with the assistance of a friend can be helpful. If you work with a buyer’s agent and something special is coming on the market it can be viewed almost immediately. Just make sure that your friend or family member knows what you want. We have seen people, without technical knowledge, making false assumptions about properties, resulting in a missed opportunity.

Viewing in person it is the best way to purchase real estate. Make sure you work with our consultants to get the best possible information and service.
