The Pacific region is diverse in nations, races and politics, with many tiny island nations rich in history and culture. New Zealand, along with Australia, is a major influence in the Pacific region and plays a big part in its the economic development, as well as contributing to the political stability that the region enjoys.
The Pacific Forum, which works towards economic growth for the Pacific, is made of of Australia, Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, New Zealand, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomons, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
