How to find a buyer for my home?

Buyers can be put into one of four groups and to ensure you get the best possible result, we need to target all four groups through our marketing and advertising.

Active Buyers:  These people form three distinct groupings

  • International and local buyers searching the Internet, newspapers and property magazines.
  • Your sales consultant’s contacts – these are automatically part of your target market.
  • Clients or customers of other consultants – these are easily reached.  Don’t accept an offer when your real estate consultant brings you a buyer without exposing your property to the larger market – you need to know that you have received the best possible price.  Good exposure to the widest market spells competition which can result in a much higher price for you

Inactive Buyers: These are people who are not looking, but if they see the right property, often through an open home or seeing an advertisement, they will buy.

There is a big difference between marketing and advertising. Marketing is what the company does to get buyers to phone them, it can range from the website, its public relations and/or the location of the office. I would love to explain to you what the company and I are doing to create buyers interest. You get this benefit of our marketing machine long before long you have to pay commission.
